Compliance Policy

Every product sold by Protogen Research Co. is classified as Research Use Only (RUO). These are synthetic peptide reagents intended for in-vitro laboratory experimentation, analytical reference, and qualified scientific study. They are not drugs, dietary supplements, cosmetics, food, or medical devices, and they have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for any therapeutic purpose.

RUO status is a regulatory category, not a marketing label. The products carry no directions for human use because there are none authorized.

Our products must not be administered to humans or animals under any route — oral, topical, subcutaneous, intramuscular, intravenous, intranasal, or otherwise. They are not formulated, sterilized, or quality-controlled for in-vivo use. Handling them outside a controlled laboratory setting is unsafe and is a misuse of the product that voids any manufacturer representation.

You must be at least 21 years of age to browse, purchase, or possess any product sold on this site. We use an age-gate on entry and collect age attestation at checkout. Providing false age information is a breach of our Terms of Service and will result in cancellation and refusal of future service.

By placing an order, you represent that you are a qualified researcher, a student or employee working under direct supervision of a qualified researcher, or a legitimate purchaser acting on behalf of a research organization. You further represent that the products will be received, stored, and handled in an appropriate laboratory environment with proper personal protective equipment.

Our products are not FDA-approved drugs. No representation is made that they are safe or effective for any therapeutic purpose. Our products are not compounded pharmaceuticals and are not dispensed under a prescription.

Some of our products may be scheduled or restricted under state laws even when federally unscheduled. It is your responsibility to verify the legal status of any product in your jurisdiction before ordering.

We ship only within the United States. We do not ship to P.O. boxes in certain states, to APO/FPO addresses, or to jurisdictions where the specific product is prohibited. We may refuse or cancel any order that we believe violates applicable law or these policies.

You are responsible for:

Ensuring that any persons who will handle the product are adequately trained and equipped.

Complying with all federal, state, and local laws governing possession, storage, transfer, use, and disposal of the product.

Providing accurate shipping information and taking delivery at a location where the product can be stored appropriately.

You agree to indemnify and hold Protogen Research Co. harmless from any claim, liability, or expense arising from your handling, possession, use, transfer, or disposal of any product, or from any misuse of the product by you or any third party who obtained the product through you.
